‘Miradas contemporáneas’ [Contemporary Outlooks] constitutes a reflection upon the way in which urban dwellers perceive San Sebastián and how those outlooks on the city are shaped up by one’s own circumstances and life experiences. This exhibition gathers photographs made with disposable cameras from 100 Donosti citizens of different ages sharing the same city and the same times, contemporary times.  

The interpretation about spaces, the meanings associated to the places and actions taking place all around the city, the relationship models... give rise to as many ‘Donostias’ [San Sebastián cities] as outlooks there are on the city. At the same time, all of us are living in one single city: the one that stems from the sum and the interaction of all those gazes, a city made of common spaces, of coexistence.
