Ibon Telleria Julian

He graduated in Architecture at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the University of the Basque Country EHU in 2001. Since 2002, he is a professor at the aforementioned school, teaching Structures, formerly in the area of Heritage and Restoration and now in the Projects Area. Since 2012, he is in charge of the workshop on the Basque farmhouse in the framework of the Master Course of Renovation, Restoration and Integral Management of Built Heritage and Existing Buildings of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU.. He has conducted different research works, such as ’Reserva de la Biosfera de Urdaibai: afección territorial de la acción de duplicar el número de viviendas en las edificaciones residenciales existentes en suelo no urbanizable’  [Territorial impact of doubling the number of houses in existing residential buildings on undevelopable land: the case of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve] (2013). He has written several articles on the heritage of rural architecture and its different methods of intervention. At present, he is preparing his dissertation on the domestic and constructive evolution of a typology of Basque farmhouse of the 15th century.
