Estudio Husos

Husos is an architecture and urban planning studio, which conducts design and research projects exploring the mediator nature of these practices through a transdisciplinary approach. Their work includes the "Host and Nectar Building and Micro-Community Responsible Gardening Actions", "Do it Together", "A Guy, his Bulldog, a Vegetable Garden, and the Home they Share" and "Beyond heteronormative residential developments", amongst others.

Husos was created in 2003 by Camilo García (M.Arch The Berlage) and Diego Barajas (PhD ETSAM, M.Arch The Berlage), who are authors of the book Urbanismos de remesas, viviendas (re) productivas de la dispersión (Urbanisms of remittances, dispersion (re) productive housing). Their work has been widely published in international magazines and books, and has been exhibited in locations and events such as the Venice Biennale, the Oslo Triennale, the Rotterdam Biennale, Witte de With, Fundación Tápies, Orleans FRAC centre or PhotoEspaña, amongst others. Husos have their headquarters in Madrid and regularly work between Spain and Colombia.
