Alejandro Gimenez Imirizaldu

Until 1998, he worked with Beth Galí, Manuel de Solà Morales, Enric Miralles and Manuel Ruisánchez. He then founded his own studio, which specialises in architectural, urban planning and urban art projects. He teaches Urbanism and Land Planning at the Barcelona School of Architecture ETSAB. He has given workshops, courses and lectures in different places both in Europe and America. He has directed, designed, curated and/or participated in different exhibitions and writes in specialised journals. He is the creator of “Racons Públics”, a competition on citizen participation. He has been an activist in fighting AIDS and a founder of the “Pink phone”, a helpline for the LGTB community.
