Imma Jansana (Barcelona, 1954), architecture degree from ETSAB in 1977.
Between 1989 and 2001, she was the municipal architect in charge of urban projects for the City Hall of Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona).
In 2006 she founded the company JANSANA, DE LA VILLA, DE PAAUW, ARQUITECTES S.L.P., together with the architects Conchita de la Villa and Robert de Paauw.
She was professor at the Institut d’Architettura de Venezia (IUAV), Masters in Landscape Architecture at ETSAB, landscape specialization course at the University of Navarre, and Faculty of Architecture in Montevideo.
She has received three FAD awards (1993,1994 and 2019), the Construmat prize in 2009, and the European Prize for Urban Public Space in 2012. She has been finalist of the FAD awards many times, and finalist of the Spanish Architecture Biennial four times.
